Meet The Team

Lead Pastor Dan Davis

Pastor Dan and Deb come to us with a long background of ministry and education to all ages. After 20 years in secular employment and involvement in the music industry, God called Dan out to a life in full-time ministry where he has spent the last 20 years as a Director of Christian Education, Outreach and Discipleship Pastor, Pastor of Youth and Worship, and Lead Pastor in Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma and now here  at Legacy Wesleyan Church

Deb has been a classroom and special education teacher since 1985, also teaching and directing in various ministries of the church over the years.  Having raised two daughters, they have a strong sense of commitment to both the role the church has in coming alongside parents as they raise their children in this challenging time as well as to the need that the broken and hurting people in the world have to know the love of God and restoration that is found in Jesus Christ. Their hobbies include spending time together, restaurants, and enjoying their family (especially the grandkids) as often as possible. Oh, and super hero movies.

Assistant Pastor Charlene Kellogg

Charlene comes to us from 10 years as pastor of the Wesleyan Church in Campo, Colorado, after having served in the Church of the Nazarene. Having been called into ministry later in life, all of her children have been raised and she has a great heart for those who are experiencing the golden years of adulthood, with the new adventures that are a part of that, as well as pastoral care. She brings a great heart to both of these areas in the life of the church.

Family Life Pastor Brad Knierim

Brad sensed a call to ministry early in life and pursued pastoral training, and has served several years as a youth pastor. This produced a growing passion God has given him for ministry to families in the church and building up the church family, birthing a new emphasis at Legacy called Family Life Ministries. Family Life Ministries is becoming our umbrella over our education and equipping ministries in the church to build up the church as a family and search out and meet the needs of specific parts of the church family, with a focus on the family units in the church themselves.

Children’s Ministry Director Sue Knierim

Sue is married to Brad, providing Legacy Wesleyan Church with a great one-two punch in ministering to our families. She has been involved in church ministry since her teen years and brings to the table her experience as a classroom teacher in the public schools, as well as a drive to see new and exciting ministries to children develop.
